I am a 30-something and fabulous single gal who’s lovin’ life and loves to live it. I enjoy making things, repurposing things, altering things, and reading about other people doing the same. I love to sing, eat, drink, read, and cook and my life reflects that fact. I love my family and friends and would do anything for them. I love God and His son and am secure in the knowledge that love is returned, and I try (but do not always succeed) to live my life as a reflection of that love. I love to try new things and am currently trying my hand at planting things, sewing things, and quilting things.

An amazing bargain

Last CTMH June Goody Box! An amazing bargain:
Today is the last day of the June specials from Close To My Heart, and it is a goody box worth $300.00 for only $125.00! That’s nearly 60% of. And of course the special discounted shipping rate applies to this order as well. I recently received another goody box that had $250.00 of items in it and it was absolutely brimming with awesome supplies, including several stamp sets. If you have friends who like to scrapbook, you will definitely get things in this box that you can use for gifts. Visit my site and check it out!

Close To My Heart

Yippie! I am now a Close To My Heart consultant. I had heard about CTMH previously, but had never actually seen their products until I went to the Williamsburg crop at the end of April. I immediately fell in love!
My favorite product is probably the Close To My Heart My Acrylix stamps. Since they are on simple acrylic sheets instead of bulky wooden blocks, they are so easy to store. They are also a breeze to clean, and are super sturdy. It’s also so much fun to mix and match stamps on a single My Acrylix block to create a collage effect.
Of course, the Exclusive Inks Stamp Pads, Exclusive Inks Markers, and coordinating Exclusive Papers are also awesome! All of the products, including the papers, use the CTMH Exclusive Colors, meaning it’s super easy to coordinate all my projects.
I’m so excited about everything. I can’t wait to do my first Home Gathering and host my first Workshop. If you live in the Northern Virginia area and are interested in earning some awesome free products, visit my website, and I’ll show you how!

I totally want to make these!

I totally want to make these!:
Who’s with me? I have plans to have the cabinets dividing the kitchen and dining room ripped out (and possibly installed along the long wall, or possibly just discarded all together). I’m also planning to remove the wall paper and paint. The top half will be a wine-ish color (Rambling Rose) and the bottom will be antique white with a glaze in the bead board for an old look.
